Free Climbing Shoes + Outdoor Introductory Classes to Expand Access To Climbing in NYC

Free Sole-O was created to help solve one of the largest problems in creating a more diverse & equitable climbing community - financial barriers to access.

NY3C works to collect, clean, resole, and distribute climbing shoes to folks that want to become climbers but face, all too common, barriers to access. All participants leave a day of climbing with their very own climbing shoes and the knowledge needed to begin their climbing adventures.
